Louise dressed to look her best for her 20th wedding anniversary and hoping that Mike will appreciate it…….she’s worried he’s late, when he does eventually call, it’s only to tell her he’s leaving her……he said “consider yourself dumped”…

Totally distraught, Louise is a mess, one night she takes too many sleeping pills…..she survives but it takes a long time for her to become some semblance of her former self….with the help of her friends.

Meanwhile, Mike is now living with Abby, who is pregnant…..it is his child isn’t it? He is also hiding money from his business partner, Steve…..and is slowly falling apart.

Set in both Malmo and London, this is the tale of love, betrayal, abuse, violence, money, love and ultimately hope. A tense look at relationships and the consequences of our actions on others….an emotion packed read.
