Review: Death In Vermilion

Death In Vermilion Death In Vermilion by Barbara Elle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved the intrigue in Death in Vermilion.

Leila is obsessed with finding out who murdered her neighbouring artist, Iris.

She suspects all the other artists around her at her at Red Barn, so who can she trust?

I found some parts of the book delightfully sinister, yet there is some clever humour too in this twisty murder mystery,

I also learned a lot about art and it’s history and the various painting techniques which added an extra facet to the story, very interesting. I really enjoyed the format and Barbara Elle’s expressive writing....i can thoroughly recommend this for lovers of crime mysteries and I’ll be looking out for more in this series.

Thank you to Book Sirens for a free copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.
