Review: Cage

Cage Cage by Lilja Sigurðardóttir
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is #3 in the series, set in Iceland and while it can be read as a stand-alone, it may take a little while to catch up on the overall tale.

This starts with Agla struggling to come to terms with the prospect of being released from prison, back into the outside world.

A visitor then offers her a job, to use her connections to the aluminium industry as there seems to be something untoward happening with the supply. Maria, an investigative journalist is helping.

Ingimar, is worried about Agla’s release, Why? He also has a son, Anton who is in love with Júlía, but there’s a shadow that could affect this, so he has a plan. Will this work or cause more problems?

Sonja, is still trying to keep herself and Tómas safe….can she finally be free?

I found this to be a marvellously twisty tale with an utterly gripping plot and full of emotion. The stunning, breathtaking ending will cause tears! Brilliant.

Thank you to Anne Cater and Random Things Tours for the opportunity to participate in this blog tour, for the promotional materials and a free copy of the book. This is my honest, unbiased review.
