Review: Wicked Girl
Wicked Girl by I.V. Olokita
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is quite a hard book to review…it’s clever nuances of language and plot are so attention grabbing…how do you put that visceral emotion into words.
John, a 30+ year old man, who still acts like a much younger man, and one of his young girlfriends are caught up in an earthquake, Nicole dies, but John helps the search for survivors…
This is where he saves, Elsie, a damaged, abused, slightly deranged, teenager. But John is a loser he has nothing…..what can he offer anyone? He’s a pervert to say the least and his thoughts can be hard to read at times….will he help Elsie?
While this is a short, fast read, it really packs a lot in…..Part crime, part psychological thriller but completely gripping.
