This starts with Jason, he’s in a psychiatric hospital after an event he cannot remember. Gradually, with the help of Dr Thompson he starts to cope with the knowledge his daughter Lea had been shot by her mother, his wife, Lisa. Lisa was also killed….was it Jason?

The story then jumps to Jerry, and this is the most unpleasant part of the story. He is a sexual predator, with a liking for underage girls. He also manages to install cameras in student housing and spies and follows them constantly. There is a lot of graphic sex in this part that made for difficult and uncomfortable reading….not for anyone with a gentle disposition and I have to admit to skipping some of this.

However, the story is very clever and has a twisty plot…. how are Jason and Jerry linked? Who killed Lea and Lisa? Where is Jason’s missing son, Matthew? Can Jerry be stopped ?
