This is #3 in Lorraine Mace’s Detective Paolo Sterl8ng series, but while I have read the other two, I feel this could easily be read as a stand-alone.

A professor has been murdered, but he was not a well liked man and many were more than happy to let their opinion of him to be known. So the list of suspects is remarkably long….

A police find a clue and believe there will be further victims….but who will be next? Just what is the link?

A dark, gritty thriller, with a fast pace and the desperation of DI Paolo Sterling trying to solve the crimes is palpable….very clever, nail biting and gripping. If you like a dark, police procedural then this is for you.
